Analysing (Analysis)
Deconstructing the information into smaller pieces so they can make inferences and understand how parts come together to make a whole. It allows the thinker to decipher the important from the unimportant information through skillful and throughout questions as well as self questioning. Within this domain are certain categories that children will exhibit such as differentiating, organising and attributing (Duchesne, McMaugh, Bochner & Krause, 2013).
Teachers RoleTeachers are to guide and scaffold the students through the analysing process. They are extra support for the students as well as a valuable resource.

Students RoleStudents will break up their current knowledge into particular parts in order to clarify and cement their understanding of a topic. From this they are able to determine connections to other knowledge and share this among their peers.
